CLI-WQ01Conical Mandrel Bend Tester stretches the coating under different diameters through changeable conical diameter. It can accurately evaluate the adhesion performance. It is applicable for GB/T 11185 and ISO6860-84 standard.

The axis of cone is made of stainless steel (big end 38mm, small end 3.2mm, length 203mm)
It can measure test plate of maximum width of 20.3mm (8) with thickness of 1.6mm (1/16)
Operation Procedures
Carefully put paper on the surface of paint film and clamp it between axis of cone and operating lever with fixing plate.
Bend the test plate along the axis of cone with manual operating lever. Bend the sample by 180° with even force in 15secs
Remove the paper and check the cracking place of paint film
Record the cracking place and measure the distance from there to the min. edge of dia. of bending axis
