CLI-WQ 03 Cylindrical Mandrel Bend Tester is designed according to GB/T 6742, ISO 1519, ASTM D522 and DIN 5352. It is applicable to determine the min dia. of coatings of color paints, varnishes bending around the cylindrical mandrel under standard condition. The min dia. wont cause any damage to the coatings, and is indicated as mm.
This is an easy and rapid method to determine elasticity of coatings. Place the test plate with coating on cylindrical mandrel with known diameter and bend it, then observe the cracking and damaging condition of coatings.
